BioA stagehand by day - or night - I write in my spare time, in dark corners of the stage with a little yellow pad of paper, or sitting at home during a week of down time during which I might churn out 15,000 words.
Writing and lighting, that's my life. When I'm not writing, I'm designing lights for rock concerts, or being the master electrician with our local ballet troupe.
I owe J.K. Rowling a great debt. Before I read Harry Potter, I hadn't written anything for nearly five years, since one of my senior college professors called my writing ineffectually amateurish. *ouch*
I joined the HP bandwagon late, in April of '06. After I finished HBP, I was left wanting more, and one day, I randomly stumbled upon fan fiction. And after reading some really amazing stories and rather a lot of not so amazing stories, I decided, "Well, I can do this."
And thus it began.
I'll always have a special place in my heart for Harry and Ginny, who were my first OTP, but now I've come to really adore Draco and Hermione together.
Currently, I'm authoring A Pound of Flesh, and when that is complete, I've decided to try my hand at an original story.
But for now, sit back and enjoy the ride.
